Job Description:
The Tile Setter in Al Shamal, Russia, is responsible for installing ceramic, porcelain, marble, granite, and other types of tiles on floors, walls, ceilings, and other surfaces in residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects. This role plays a crucial part in interior and exterior finishing, ensuring durability, aesthetics, and alignment with architectural design.
Key responsibilities include surface preparation, layout planning, tile cutting, adhesive application, and precise placement to meet design specifications. The tile setter must also apply grout, clean surfaces, and ensure a uniform finish. They work closely with project managers, interior designers, and other trades to meet timelines and quality standards.
In addition to aesthetic considerations, the tile setter must account for waterproofing, expansion joints, and floor levelness to ensure long-term performance and safety of tiled surfaces.
Job Requirement:
Education: High school diploma or vocational training in tiling or masonry work.
Experience: 2–5 years in tile installation or similar construction work.
Skills:
Proficiency in reading blueprints and tile layouts.
Skilled in manual and powered tile-cutting tools.
Precision and attention to detail in placement and alignment.
Knowledge of adhesives, grouting, and waterproofing techniques.
Physical stamina and ability to work in kneeling or squatting positions.
Language: Proficiency in Russian; English is a plus.
