Job Description:

Job Title: Aquaculture Stock Grader
Location: Yishun, Singapore
Industry: Agriculture and Fisheries — Aquaculture
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Aquaculture Stock Grader to support our aquaculture production facility in Yishun, Singapore. The primary responsibility of this role is to grade and classify fish and other aquaculture stock by size, weight, species, and quality, ensuring optimal stock management, growth uniformity, and preparation for market or farm distribution.

Key duties include handling live fish or aquatic species carefully during grading procedures, using manual and mechanical grading equipment to separate stock into appropriate categories, and maintaining accurate records of stock numbers and characteristics. The Aquaculture Stock Grader will also monitor fish for signs of disease, deformities, or damage, ensuring that unhealthy stock is identified and appropriately managed.

Additional responsibilities involve assisting in pond or tank transfers, preparing stock for packaging or delivery, cleaning and maintaining grading equipment, and collaborating with farm staff during harvesting and feeding activities. The role requires strict adherence to biosecurity, hygiene, and safety protocols to maintain fish health and farm productivity.

This role plays an essential part in optimizing aquaculture operations and supporting the sustainable growth of high-quality stock within Yishun’s fisheries industry.
