Job Description:
We are hiring an Agricultural Irrigation Technician to join our team in Barcelona. In this role, you will be responsible for the setup, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems for our agricultural operations. You will ensure that water is efficiently distributed across the fields, crops receive adequate water, and that irrigation systems operate at optimal performance to prevent both under-watering and over-watering.
You will also monitor soil moisture levels, adjust irrigation schedules based on weather conditions, and troubleshoot any issues with water systems. You will be required to maintain records of irrigation operations, including water usage and system maintenance, and report any malfunctions or needed repairs to the management team. The ideal candidate should have experience with various types of irrigation systems, including drip, sprinkler, and surface irrigation, and be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
