Job Description:

We are hiring an Apparel Packaging Operator to join our clothing distribution team in Madrid. This role is responsible for preparing finished garments for shipment by operating packaging machinery and assisting with manual packing tasks when required.

As an Apparel Packaging Operator, your core duties include operating automated folding and sealing machines, monitoring packaging lines for errors, and ensuring all items are correctly labeled, tagged, and sorted for dispatch. You will also assist with the setup of packaging stations and ensure materials such as plastic wraps, tags, labels, and cartons are in place.

You will conduct visual inspections of garments to check for defects or incorrect labels before sealing. This role requires you to collaborate with production, warehousing, and shipping teams to maintain workflow efficiency and adhere to deadlines.

Cleanliness and accuracy are crucial, as improperly packaged garments may result in customer dissatisfaction or product damage. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work on their feet in a fast-paced environment.

Job Requirement:

Candidates should hold a high school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in packaging, garment production, or warehouse operations is preferred but not essential if you demonstrate the right skills and willingness to learn.

You must have basic knowledge of packaging standards, garment types, and labeling systems. Familiarity with automated packaging machines is a plus. On-the-job training will be provided for specific equipment.

Good hand-eye coordination, physical stamina, and attention to detail are essential. You should be comfortable standing for long periods, lifting cartons, and working under time constraints.

Clear communication and the ability to follow packing guidelines and instructions are necessary. You must be organized, punctual, and committed to maintaining high packaging quality and consistency.
