Job Description:

We are seeking a Circular Knitting Technician to support our textile production facility in Granada. This position is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining circular knitting machines to produce high-quality knitted fabrics for apparel, sportswear, and industrial applications.

As a Circular Knitting Technician, you will set up machines based on production specifications, thread yarns through tensioners and feeders, and ensure knitting patterns are accurately followed. You will monitor fabric output for quality, identify defects such as dropped stitches or yarn breaks, and make real-time adjustments to machine settings when necessary.

You’ll also perform daily maintenance on knitting machines, replace worn parts, clean lint build-up, and report any mechanical faults. Collaboration with quality control teams and production supervisors is essential to meet fabric standards and order deadlines.

This role demands technical skill, mechanical knowledge, and a detail-oriented mindset. You will play a key part in optimizing machine performance and ensuring consistent, defect-free fabric output in a high-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Requirement:

Candidates should have a diploma or certification in textile technology, knitting operations, or mechanical maintenance. A minimum of two years of experience operating circular knitting machines is required.

Strong knowledge of yarn types, knitting gauges, and machine programming is essential. You must be able to troubleshoot common knitting issues and adjust feeders, take-down rollers, and tension settings independently.

Understanding fabric behavior, defect identification, and stitch formation is critical. Familiarity with Jacquard or computer-controlled knitting systems is a strong advantage.

This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, physical stamina to operate machines over long shifts, and a commitment to safety and preventive maintenance practices. Good communication and teamwork are important, as you'll work closely with supervisors and QA personnel.
