Job Description:
We are hiring a Clinical Care Support Technician to assist our medical team in Barcelona. This role involves performing patient care duties under the supervision of licensed nurses and doctors. You will be involved in monitoring patient health, supporting treatments, preparing equipment, and assisting with clinical documentation.
You will assist with taking vitals, providing wound care, setting up IV lines, and maintaining sterile fields. Administrative tasks include updating charts, filing reports, and managing patient flow in the department. You will also help with room turnover and maintain inventory of medical supplies.
This position is a balance of hands-on clinical care and organizational responsibilities. You will gain experience in different hospital units and support patients through critical stages of care. A strong sense of responsibility, precision, and adaptability is required for this multifaceted role.
Job Requirement:
Applicants must have a diploma or certification in medical assistance, patient care, or clinical technology. Prior experience in healthcare settings is preferred. You must be skilled in monitoring patient status, using medical equipment, and performing basic clinical procedures.
Candidates must have a good understanding of healthcare documentation, data entry, and hospital systems. Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure is critical. Attention to hygiene standards, equipment sterilization, and privacy laws is expected.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude are needed to work effectively in team-based environments. You must be physically capable of assisting patients and moving equipment when required.
Fluency in Spanish is necessary. English is an asset. Background screening, vaccinations, and hospital compliance training are required prior to onboarding.
