Job Description:
We are hiring a High-Pressure Welding Specialist to join our industrial fabrication and maintenance team in Madrid. Your role is to perform expert welding on pipelines and pressure vessels subjected to high operating pressures and stringent quality standards. Duties include interpreting complex blueprints, preparing joint surfaces, and executing certified welds using advanced techniques such as TIG and orbital welding.
You’ll ensure weld integrity through visual inspections, pressure tests, and non-destructive testing methods. Maintaining safety standards, compliance with codes like ASME, and impeccable documentation of all work are core expectations. You will collaborate with engineers, inspectors, and site managers, often taking responsibility for critical welds on high-value or hazardous projects.
Job Requirement:
Candidates must hold a technical diploma or recognized certification in welding, with additional specialization in high-pressure or coded welding preferred. Proven experience (at least three years) in high-pressure pipe or vessel welding is required, ideally substantiated by weld certifications.
Outstanding manual dexterity, precision, and ability to work to close tolerances are essential. Candidates should be familiar with relevant codes, testing procedures, and PPE for hazardous environments. Good communication skills, attention to documentation, physical fitness, and flexibility for overtime or night work are also necessary.
