Job Description:

We are looking for a Turbine Blade Repair Specialist for our renewable energy division in Barcelona. In this specialized role, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing wind turbine blades, ensuring structural integrity and optimal aerodynamic performance. This involves working with composite materials, using precision repair tools, and applying resins or coatings to restore damaged blades to operational standards.
You'll be expected to document repairs, maintain tools, and collaborate closely with site engineers, safety teams, and other maintenance professionals. Work is frequently performed at height, so a rigorous safety approach and compliance with all relevant protocols are fundamental. Effective problem resolution and attention to fine technical detail will help keep our wind farm assets productive and reliable.

Job Requirement:

Candidates must have a diploma or certificate in mechanical, aeronautical, or materials engineering, or relevant trade training in composite repairs. Previous practical experience with turbine blade or composite structure maintenance and repair is highly desirable.
Candidates must be physically fit and able to work at heights under outdoor conditions, with prior understanding of climbing safety and rescue techniques. Manual dexterity, fine attention to detail, and strong troubleshooting skills are required. Excellent recordkeeping, teamwork, and communication skills are essential. Willingness to travel to turbine sites and participate in shift work is expected.
