Job Description:

A Business Strategy Analyst in Zurich supports organizational decision-making through detailed market research, competitive analysis, and financial modeling. This role plays a critical part in identifying growth opportunities, optimizing performance, and advising leadership on long-term business planning. In Zurich’s fast-paced corporate environment, the analyst works closely with cross-functional teams to assess new ventures, M&A options, and strategic risks. The position involves preparing executive briefings, scenario planning, and synthesizing large datasets into actionable insights. Success in this role requires both strategic thinking and strong technical abilities in data analysis, visualization, and business intelligence.

Job Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; advanced certifications or MBAs are often preferred

  • Proven experience relevant to the role, with a consistent track record of performance and achievement

  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels

  • Proficiency in standard business software, including Microsoft Office Suite, ERP systems, and industry-specific tools

  • High level of organizational and project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

  • Strong leadership or collaborative team-player mindset, depending on the level of the role

  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of German and/or French is highly desirable depending on the Swiss region

  • Deep understanding of Swiss market dynamics and relevant legal/regulatory frameworks
