Job Description: General Crop Farm Worker – Geneva (Agriculture & Fisheries Industry)
We are looking for a committed and detail-oriented General Crop Farm Worker to support our agricultural activities in Geneva, under the Agriculture & Fisheries industry. The role involves hands-on work across all stages of crop production, including soil preparation, seeding, planting, irrigating, fertilizing, weeding, and harvesting a variety of crops such as vegetables, fruits, and grains.
The worker will be responsible for monitoring crop growth, identifying signs of pests or disease, and assisting with the application of plant protection products according to safety and environmental standards. Operating basic farm machinery and tools, maintaining irrigation systems, and ensuring cleanliness and order across the fields are also part of the daily tasks.
The position requires physical strength, endurance, and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Attention to detail, time management, and a willingness to learn are essential. While previous experience in crop farming is preferred, training will be provided for motivated individuals.
Basic French language skills are required for communication; knowledge of English or German is a plus. Applicants must hold a valid Swiss work permit or EU citizenship.
