Job Description: Food Product Development Scientist – Geneva (Agriculture & Fisheries Industry)

We are looking for a creative and technically proficient Food Product Development Scientist to join our innovation-driven team in Geneva, working within the Agriculture & Fisheries industry. This role focuses on developing new and improved food products derived from agricultural and natural sources, with a strong emphasis on sustainability, nutrition, and market trends.

The successful candidate will be responsible for formulating product concepts, conducting lab and pilot-scale trials, and optimizing recipes based on sensory, nutritional, and shelf-life evaluations. Key tasks include ingredient sourcing, process development, packaging evaluation, and collaboration with quality, marketing, and regulatory teams to bring products from idea to market.

You will play a central role in translating consumer insights and agricultural outputs into commercially viable food solutions. Products may include plant-based foods, functional foods, dairy or grain-based innovations, or value-added products from aquaculture and farming operations.

Strong project management and documentation skills are essential, as well as familiarity with Swiss and EU food safety and labeling standards. This full-time position offers the opportunity to lead innovation in food production, contributing to a sustainable and health-conscious food system in the Geneva region.

Language: Proficiency in French required; English is a strong asset.
Eligibility: Valid Swiss work permit or EU/EFTA citizenship required.
