Job Description:
The Application Engineer in Dubai is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise applications that meet business needs and improve operational efficiency. This role acts as a bridge between the technical development team and business stakeholders, ensuring the smooth deployment, support, and integration of software systems. Responsibilities include customizing applications based on business requirements, performing functional testing, optimizing application performance, and troubleshooting software-related issues. The Application Engineer is also involved in training end-users, preparing user manuals, and coordinating software updates or patches. This position requires close collaboration with developers, systems analysts, and IT infrastructure teams to ensure the seamless performance of applications across platforms. The role also includes monitoring application usage, maintaining compliance with IT policies, and suggesting improvements for application scalability and user experience. Proficiency in programming (e.g., Java, .NET), relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle), and enterprise platforms (e.g., SAP, Salesforce) is important.
Job Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field. 2–4 years of experience in application support or engineering. Strong knowledge of enterprise application platforms and database management. Good communication skills and analytical thinking. Experience with system integration and software lifecycle management.
