Job Description:
The Application Integration Architect in Dubai is responsible for designing and implementing solutions that enable seamless communication and data exchange between disparate enterprise applications. This role focuses on defining integration strategies, selecting appropriate middleware platforms, and ensuring that business processes are consistently supported by underlying IT systems. The architect plays a key role in enabling digital transformation and enhancing operational efficiency by streamlining how data flows across systems such as ERP, CRM, HRMS, and custom applications.
Key responsibilities include defining integration architecture frameworks, managing API and messaging infrastructure, and overseeing the implementation of integration solutions using tools like MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Microsoft Azure Integration Services, or Apache Camel. The architect evaluates current integration patterns and proposes scalable, secure, and reusable architectures. They also coordinate with application developers, business analysts, and DevOps teams to maintain performance, reliability, and data integrity in all integration efforts.
The Application Integration Architect also sets policies for version control, message queues, data transformation, and exception handling. The role requires understanding complex workflows, transaction handling, and synchronous/asynchronous communication patterns. In addition, the architect supports system upgrades and migrations by planning backward-compatible integrations and ensuring minimal disruption to business services.
Job Requirement:
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Systems is required. Candidates must have 5–8 years of experience in enterprise application integration and middleware architecture. Strong knowledge of APIs, SOA, event-driven architecture, and integration protocols (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML) is essential. Hands-on experience with iPaaS platforms and enterprise service bus (ESB) solutions is required. The ideal candidate should have excellent problem-solving skills, strong documentation abilities, and cloud platform integration experience (AWS, Azure). TOGAF or integration tool certifications are an added advantage.
