Job Description:
The AML (Anti-Money Laundering) Compliance Analyst in Winnipeg is responsible for monitoring and ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering regulations and policies. This role involves identifying suspicious transactions, analyzing financial activities, and supporting the organization in mitigating financial crime risks.
Key responsibilities include reviewing customer transactions, conducting due diligence, preparing compliance reports, and collaborating with risk, legal, and operations teams to ensure adherence to Canadian AML regulations. The analyst monitors high-risk accounts, investigates anomalies, and assists in implementing AML programs, policies, and training initiatives. Additionally, the role involves staying updated on emerging AML trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to strengthen the organization’s compliance framework.
This position requires strong analytical, investigative, and communication skills. Job Requirement:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CAMS or other AML certifications preferred.
Experience: 2–5 years in AML compliance, financial crime investigation, or regulatory compliance.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of anti-money laundering regulations, compliance frameworks, and financial crime prevention.
