Job Description: As a Botanist Server, you will be responsible for providing expert knowledge and assistance to customers in a botanical or horticultural setting. Your role will involve assisting customers with plant selection, offering guidance on care and maintenance, and providing information on plant characteristics, growing conditions, and landscaping ideas. You will also be responsible for ensuring the availability of plant inventory, organizing displays, and maintaining the overall appearance of the botanical facility. Additionally, you may be involved in conducting plant identification, answering customer inquiries, and recommending appropriate products or services to enhance the customer's botanical experience. Strong customer service skills, botanical knowledge, and a passion for plants and gardening are important for success in this role.

Job Requirement: High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Botany, Horticulture, or related field is a plus). Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a botanical or horticultural setting. Excellent knowledge of plant species, including their characteristics, growth requirements, and common pests or diseases. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively assist and engage with customers. Passion for plants, gardening, and botanical knowledge. Ability to provide accurate plant identification and offer expert advice on plant care and maintenance. Physical fitness and ability to perform tasks such as lifting and moving plants, and standing for extended periods. Attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain plant inventory and display areas. Basic computer skills for inventory management and point-of-sale systems. Willingness to work weekends and holidays, as these are often peak times for customer visits. Friendly and approachable demeanor to create a welcoming environment for customers. Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with colleagues to meet customer needs.
