Job Description:
We are looking for a Cognitive Science Researcher in Frankfurt am Main to join our interdisciplinary team investigating perception, memory, language, and decision-making. Your role will be to conduct empirical studies and develop computational models to better understand human cognition and its neural underpinnings.
You will design behavioral experiments, collect and analyze data, and collaborate with neuroscientists, psychologists, and computer scientists. Additionally, you’ll present research at conferences and publish findings in top-tier journals to contribute to both academic and applied understanding of cognition.
Job Requirement:
A PhD in Cognitive Science, Psychology, Neuroscience, or a related field is required. Postdoctoral or equivalent research experience in cognitive modeling, psychophysics, or neurocognitive research is preferred.
You must have hands-on experience with experiment design tools like PsychoPy or E-Prime, and data analysis software such as SPSS, R, or MATLAB. Programming experience (e.g., Python) and a strong foundation in statistics and experimental methodology are essential. A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and publish research is expected.
