Job Description:

We are hiring an experienced Human Behavior Specialist to contribute to the development of user-centric products, services, and experiences. Based in Hamburg, this role focuses on observing, interpreting, and applying behavioral insights to enhance product interaction, workplace design, customer journeys, and communication strategies.

As a behavioral expert, you will design and execute observational studies, behavioral experiments, and habit-forming strategy frameworks. You will provide reports and strategic recommendations grounded in behavioral psychology, cognitive science, and ethnographic research. Working closely with UX teams, marketing, HR, and innovation units, your insights will help create more intuitive, accessible, and persuasive user experiences.

The ideal candidate has a passion for decoding human decision-making, is familiar with the application of behavioral science in design and business, and can communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Job Requirement:

A degree in Behavioral Psychology, Cognitive Science, Anthropology, or a related discipline is required, with 4–8 years of experience applying behavioral insights in a business or design context.

You must be proficient in both qualitative and quantitative research techniques including ethnographic observation, eye-tracking, statistical analysis, and structured interviews. Familiarity with behavioral economics principles, habit loops, nudging techniques, and human motivation models is expected.

Experience working with cross-disciplinary teams, especially in UX, product design, or organizational strategy, is essential. Tools like SPSS, NVivo, or R for data analysis and Miro or Figma for journey mapping are valuable additions.

You should have excellent storytelling skills and be capable of producing compelling presentations and behavioral models. Comfort with ambiguity, critical thinking, and a user-first mindset are key qualities for success in this role.
