Candidates for the Logistics Coordinator role in Rome must meet the following requirements:
Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of experience in logistics coordination, transport management, or supply chain roles, preferably within the agriculture or fisheries sectors.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in logistics software, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Familiarity with transport documentation and customs procedures is a plus.
Organizational Skills: Strong ability to plan, schedule, and coordinate shipments efficiently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Italian are mandatory; good command of English is beneficial for liaising with international suppliers and partners.
Problem-Solving: Capability to quickly address transport or delivery issues, manage delays, and implement effective solutions to maintain smooth operations.
Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of safety, quality, and regulatory standards related to handling and transport of agricultural and fishery products.
