We are seeking a reliable Bus Driver to provide safe and efficient transportation for employees and staff involved in agriculture and fisheries operations around Rome. This role supports the daily movement of workers between farms, fisheries, processing facilities, and accommodation sites, ensuring timely and comfortable transit.
Responsibilities include operating buses on scheduled routes, performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring passenger safety, and maintaining cleanliness inside the vehicle. The driver must comply with all traffic laws and company safety policies, assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, and manage any emergencies that may arise during transit.
The ideal candidate will possess a valid Patente D (bus driver license), a clean driving record, and at least two years of experience driving buses, preferably in agricultural or fisheries environments. Strong knowledge of Rome’s road network and traffic conditions is essential for efficient route management.
Excellent communication skills in Italian are required to coordinate with site managers and passengers. The role demands punctuality, reliability, and flexibility to work early mornings, late evenings, or weekends during peak seasons.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional bus driving experience, ideally within agriculture, fisheries, or related industries involving employee transport.
Safety Knowledge: Strong understanding of Italian traffic laws and safety regulations, with the ability to conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and ensure passenger safety at all times.
Physical and Mental Fitness: Capable of maintaining alertness during long hours of driving, handling emergencies calmly, and assisting passengers as needed. Good vision and hearing are essential.
Navigation Skills: In-depth knowledge of Rome and its surrounding agricultural and fisheries areas, including ability to plan and adapt routes to avoid traffic delays and ensure punctual arrivals.
Communication Skills: Proficient in Italian to effectively communicate with passengers, site managers, and supervisors, demonstrating professionalism and courteous behavior.
Reliability and Flexibility: Punctual and dependable, willing to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends to accommodate peak operational needs.
Clean Background: No serious traffic violations, criminal records, or substance abuse history.
Candidates with a strong safety record, good interpersonal skills, and experience in transporting agricultural or fisheries personnel will be preferred.
