We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Warehouse Forklift Driver to support logistics operations in our agricultural products warehouse in Florence. The role involves handling, storing, and transporting agricultural goods such as produce, feed, and equipment, ensuring efficient movement within the facility.
Key responsibilities include operating forklifts to load and unload goods, organizing inventory, and assisting in order preparation and dispatch. The driver will also be responsible for conducting routine inspections of the forklift, reporting maintenance needs, and complying with safety protocols.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or agricultural environment, a valid forklift license, and a strong understanding of safety procedures. Attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work in varying temperatures are essential.
This position plays a critical role in maintaining the supply chain of our agriculture and fisheries products, contributing to the timely delivery and quality preservation of goods. A flexible schedule and readiness to support seasonal peaks are required.

Physical Fitness: Capability to lift heavy loads (up to 25 kg regularly, heavier with assistance), stand, bend, and work in various temperature conditions typical of agricultural warehouses.
Attention to Detail: Accurate in handling inventory, loading/unloading goods carefully to avoid damage, and ensuring correct stock placement.
Teamwork and Communication: Good interpersonal skills to coordinate with warehouse staff, supervisors, and logistics teams. Basic understanding of Italian language is highly preferred to follow instructions and safety guidelines effectively.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage time efficiently, meet deadlines, and adapt to fluctuating workloads, especially during peak agricultural seasons.
Reliability: Punctuality, strong work ethic, and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends or early mornings if required.
Candidates with experience in agriculture-related logistics and forklift operation will be prioritized.
