Job Description:

An Airspace Operations Specialist in Salmiyah is tasked with the planning, coordination, and management of airspace usage to ensure safe, efficient, and organized aviation traffic flow. This role is essential in both civilian and defense aviation sectors, requiring detailed knowledge of flight operations, air traffic control procedures, and air navigation systems.

The specialist evaluates current airspace design, traffic patterns, and operational constraints to recommend or implement adjustments that optimize air traffic capacity while ensuring safety. They collaborate with aviation authorities, air traffic controllers, and airlines to resolve route conflicts, coordinate temporary flight restrictions, and support military or emergency operations without disrupting commercial traffic.

Daily responsibilities include preparing flight route charts, analyzing flight data, forecasting air traffic trends, and monitoring compliance with airspace usage regulations. They also participate in the development of new airspace procedures or technologies and ensure compatibility with international aviation standards.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are crucial in this role. Candidates typically possess a background in aeronautical engineering, aviation management, or military air operations. The position demands a high level of precision, strategic thinking, and familiarity with global air traffic management systems and simulation tools.
