Job Description:
A Commercial Flight Captain in Qurain serves as the pilot in command of commercial aircraft, responsible for the overall safety, navigation, and operation of the flight. This role encompasses pre-flight planning, in-flight decision-making, and post-flight documentation, all while ensuring compliance with aviation laws and airline policies.
Before each flight, the captain conducts a comprehensive review of the flight plan, weather conditions, aircraft systems, and fuel requirements. They lead the flight crew in pre-flight inspections, coordinate with ground and air traffic control, and ensure all safety procedures are strictly followed. During the flight, the captain monitors systems, handles navigation, communicates with air traffic control, and manages any in-flight emergencies or abnormalities.
The captain also serves as the leader of the flight crew, maintaining order, making real-time decisions, and ensuring passengers receive a safe and smooth journey. They are responsible for maintaining a high level of situational awareness, especially during takeoff, landing, and adverse weather conditions.
To qualify, candidates must hold an Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL), accumulate significant flight hours, and demonstrate advanced proficiency in aviation operations.
