Job Description:

The Cargo Loader in Al Ahmadi is responsible for loading and unloading cargo onto trucks, aircraft, or containers for distribution. This position is crucial in ensuring that cargo is handled efficiently, securely, and in compliance with all relevant safety and weight regulations. The loader is often part of a larger logistics team and works closely with drivers, supervisors, and warehouse staff.

Duties include verifying cargo against documentation, sorting goods based on destination, using loading equipment (such as pallet jacks or forklifts), and arranging cargo to optimize space while preventing damage. Cargo Loaders must be able to identify and report damaged goods and ensure all items are securely loaded and properly documented.

Physical endurance is essential due to the lifting and repetitive nature of the job. Accuracy, speed, and the ability to work under pressure are also critical. Safety is a top priority, and adherence to all relevant procedures is mandatory to ensure both personnel and cargo are protected.

Job Requirement:

  • No formal education required, but a high school diploma is advantageous.

  • Prior experience in cargo handling or warehousing is preferred.

  • Ability to operate loading equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks (certification is a plus).

  • Strong physical condition and ability to lift heavy loads regularly.

  • Understanding of loading safety protocols and weight distribution.

  • Basic reading and writing skills for interpreting documentation.

  • Team-oriented with effective communication abilities.

  • Willingness to work outdoors or in non-climate-controlled environments.

  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to punctuality and reliability.
