Job Description:
The Dockyard Laborer in Mahboula provides physical labor support for the maintenance and operation of dockyard facilities. The role encompasses assisting with the loading and unloading of marine vessels, preparing ships for repairs, moving materials and tools, and cleaning dockside work areas.
Core tasks include carrying supplies, operating basic dockyard machinery, supporting ship maintenance crews, and ensuring that materials are stored and transported safely. The laborer may also participate in tasks such as sandblasting, painting preparation, and scaffolding setup, under supervision.
This position requires physical endurance, a practical mindset, and familiarity with basic tools and dockyard safety practices. The Dockyard Laborer must be dependable, able to work in a team, and committed to maintaining an efficient and safe work environment.
