Job Description:
As a CNC Machine Operator in Al Ahmadi, the role involves the setup, programming, and operation of computer numerically controlled (CNC) machines used in the production of parts for heavy machinery. The operator is responsible for reading technical drawings and blueprints, selecting tools, loading materials, and executing production runs while monitoring for quality and accuracy.
This role requires interaction with CNC programming software and the ability to modify existing programs to improve efficiency or compensate for material variation. The CNC Machine Operator must inspect parts using precision measuring tools to verify they meet tight tolerances, and they must document production data and machine performance metrics.
The position demands a deep understanding of the machining process and an ability to identify and troubleshoot issues such as tool wear, feed speed problems, or irregular cuts. Regular maintenance of machines, including lubrication and calibration, is also expected to ensure consistent output. Operators must comply with all safety regulations, including proper handling of sharp tools and moving machinery.
Job Requirement:
Hands-on experience with CNC machines, preferably in the industrial machinery sector.
Ability to read technical drawings and translate them into machine code or program instructions.
Proficiency in using G-code and CNC interface software.
Strong understanding of machining techniques and material properties.
Excellent manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
Skilled in using measurement tools like micrometers, vernier calipers, and gauges.
Ability to identify and resolve machine issues quickly and efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
Capability to lift heavy objects and operate in a standing position for long durations.
Relevant technical education or vocational training in CNC machining or industrial technology.
