Job Description: Field Survey Assistant – Construction & Building Industry (Oman)
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Field Survey Assistant to support surveying operations in a dynamic construction environment in Oman. The successful candidate will work closely with surveyors, engineers, and site supervisors to collect accurate field data, assist with land and structural measurements, and ensure compliance with construction plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in conducting topographic, boundary, and construction surveys using total stations, GPS, and other surveying tools.
Set out construction reference points and markers under the direction of the surveyor.
Record and manage field data accurately and submit reports to the survey team.
Support the surveyor in maintaining equipment and ensuring field safety standards.
Help interpret survey data for use in construction planning and site layout.
Qualifications:
Diploma or certificate in surveying, civil engineering, or related field preferred.
Previous experience in a construction or infrastructure project is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of surveying equipment and tools.
Ability to work in outdoor conditions and travel to multiple construction sites.
Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
