Job Description:
The Air Conditioning Mechanic in Al Rayyan, Qatar, is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems across residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. This role plays a key part in ensuring indoor comfort and environmental control by keeping HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems operating efficiently and safely.
Key duties include inspecting air conditioning units, diagnosing mechanical or electrical faults, replacing defective components such as motors, thermostats, and filters, and conducting regular cleaning and system performance checks. The mechanic must also check refrigerant levels, ensure proper system airflow, and comply with environmental and safety regulations. In some cases, the role involves ductwork installation and coordinating with electricians and building maintenance teams during new installations or system upgrades.
