Job Description:
As a Building Caretaker in Al Khor, Qatar, you will be responsible for the overall maintenance, cleanliness, and security of residential or commercial buildings. Your key duties will include performing routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and garbage disposal, as well as conducting minor repairs like fixing leaky faucets, replacing light bulbs, and ensuring the general upkeep of building facilities. You will also monitor the building's external and internal areas, ensuring they remain safe and well-maintained.
The caretaker will conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs or potential hazards, reporting these to the property management team. In addition to cleaning and maintenance, the role may include handling basic administrative tasks, such as keeping track of supply inventories and assisting tenants with inquiries or issues. You will be the first point of contact for building residents, ensuring that they have a safe and clean environment to live or work in.
This role requires a combination of cleaning skills, basic repair knowledge, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service to residents and building management.
