Job Description:
The Cleaning Technician plays a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across commercial and residential facilities in Doha, Qatar. Working under the supervision of cleaning supervisors or facility managers, the technician is responsible for routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing restrooms, and removing trash. The role may also involve deep-cleaning operations for carpets, glass panels, floor surfaces, and high-touch areas in accordance with safety and hygiene protocols.
Technicians must adhere to schedules, use appropriate cleaning agents safely, and operate basic cleaning equipment like floor polishers, vacuum machines, and chemical sprayers. Additional duties include monitoring supply inventories, restocking toiletries, reporting maintenance issues, and ensuring compliance with Qatar’s health and safety regulations. In high-traffic environments like offices, hospitals, and hotels, the Cleaning Technician helps uphold cleanliness standards that promote public health and client satisfaction. The job requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to hygiene maintenance.
