Job Description:

The Climate Control Technician in Umm Salal, Qatar, is responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining advanced HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) and climate control systems in residential, commercial, and industrial facilities. This role ensures that interior environments remain comfortable, energy-efficient, and compliant with health and safety standards.

Key duties include diagnosing temperature regulation issues, calibrating thermostats, checking airflow systems, and inspecting heat exchangers, air ducts, and ventilation pathways. The technician performs routine maintenance tasks such as filter replacement, refrigerant charging, electrical testing, and control panel diagnostics. In facilities that rely on automated environmental systems, the technician adjusts programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and integrates smart building climate technologies.

Additionally, the Climate Control Technician is expected to log maintenance work, report component wear, suggest energy-saving solutions, and support emergency repairs. The role may also involve coordinating with electricians, plumbers, and facility engineers during system installations or overhauls. The technician must prioritize occupant comfort while maintaining system safety and efficiency in Qatar’s demanding climate.
