Job Description:
The Building Electrician in Al Wakrah, Qatar, is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial, residential, and institutional buildings. This role ensures that all electrical wiring, outlets, circuit breakers, lighting systems, and electrical panels are functioning safely and efficiently in compliance with Qatari regulations.
Key responsibilities include reading and interpreting blueprints, installing and testing electrical circuits, identifying faults, and performing repairs or replacements of faulty components. The electrician is also responsible for preventive maintenance activities, such as checking load balances, grounding systems, and lighting controls. The job requires using diagnostic tools to troubleshoot issues and ensure compliance with safety codes and energy efficiency standards.
In coordination with building maintenance teams, the electrician may also assist in planning electrical layouts for renovations or new installations.
