Job Description:

The Asset Management Specialist in Al Khor is responsible for overseeing the investment portfolios of institutional and high-net-worth clients, ensuring optimal performance, risk control, and strategic growth. This role involves evaluating financial instruments including equities, bonds, mutual funds, ETFs, and alternative investments to construct diversified portfolios aligned with client objectives and risk tolerance. The specialist continuously monitors portfolio performance, conducts rebalancing when necessary, and produces periodic investment reports for stakeholders.

Working closely with research analysts and financial advisors, the specialist provides insights on market conditions, macroeconomic developments, and asset allocation strategies. Key tasks include conducting financial analysis, applying portfolio theory, implementing risk-adjusted performance metrics, and ensuring compliance with Qatar’s financial regulatory framework. In addition, the role may involve engaging clients to understand their financial goals, updating investment policies, and supporting the integration of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) considerations into portfolio management practices.

The Asset Management Specialist plays a vital role in preserving capital, enhancing returns, and contributing to the financial wellbeing of clients and institutions in Qatar’s growing investment management sector.

Job Requirement:

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Investment Management, Economics, or a related field.

Experience: 4–6 years of professional experience in asset management, wealth advisory, or portfolio administration.

Skills:

In-depth understanding of portfolio construction and investment strategies.

Strong analytical skills with expertise in performance evaluation metrics.

Proficient in financial modeling, Bloomberg, and portfolio management systems.

Knowledge of local and international financial markets and instruments.

Ability to interpret and respond to market trends with strategic decisions.

Certifications: CFA or equivalent professional investment certification is highly preferred.

Language: Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are advantageous.

Strong ethical standards and regulatory compliance awareness.

Client-focused mindset with excellent communication and presentation skills.

Ability to work under pressure and make timely investment decisions.

Familiarity with QCB investment regulations and international best practices.
