Job Description:
The Buyout Specialist in Al Wakrah is responsible for managing and executing leveraged buyout (LBO) transactions and strategic acquisitions of private companies. This role is central to identifying undervalued or underperforming firms with growth potential, structuring deals, securing financing, and supporting the transformation of acquired businesses post-acquisition. The specialist collaborates with legal, financial, and operational teams to ensure successful deal structuring and integration.
Key duties include evaluating buyout targets, conducting in-depth due diligence, preparing investment proposals, building financial models, and negotiating deal terms with sellers, banks, and private equity partners. The specialist also supports post-deal monitoring, including overseeing performance metrics, assisting with board representation, and advising on restructuring or exit strategies.
The position is critical to expanding the firm’s portfolio and delivering long-term value creation. The Buyout Specialist plays a high-impact role in Qatar’s dynamic M&A and private equity environment, driving business transformation and investor returns.
Job Requirement:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration; MBA or CFA preferred.
Experience: 4–6 years in private equity, corporate finance, or M&A advisory.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of LBO structures and financial engineering.
Advanced modeling and valuation skills.
Experience negotiating term sheets and deal documentation.
Strategic thinking with commercial insight.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Language: Fluent in English; Arabic is an asset.
Other Requirements:
Familiarity with Qatari legal and regulatory frameworks for private transactions.
Ability to lead cross-functional deal teams.
Proven track record of successful deal execution.
