Job Description:
The Back Kitchen Porter in Al Wukair is responsible for supporting kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness and order in the back-of-house area. This role includes washing dishes, cleaning kitchen floors and surfaces, disposing of waste, and assisting chefs and kitchen staff with basic prep work when needed. The porter helps ensure that the kitchen environment remains safe, hygienic, and well-organized to facilitate smooth food preparation and service.
The position involves handling heavy-duty cleaning tasks, organizing kitchen equipment, restocking supplies, and reporting maintenance issues. The Back Kitchen Porter must adhere to strict health and safety regulations and assist with the efficient movement of ingredients and utensils within the kitchen. This role is critical in supporting the overall productivity and cleanliness of the kitchen, contributing to a positive guest experience.
Job Requirement:
Education: No formal education required; basic literacy is beneficial.
Experience: Prior experience in kitchen porter or cleaning roles preferred but not mandatory.
Skills:
