Job Description:
The Culinary Operations Supervisor in Doha is responsible for overseeing kitchen activities, ensuring smooth food production and quality control in restaurants, hotels, or catering services. This role supports the Executive and Head Chefs by supervising kitchen staff, managing food preparation processes, and maintaining hygiene and safety standards. The supervisor coordinates daily kitchen workflows to meet service demands efficiently.
Key duties include monitoring ingredient usage, ensuring compliance with health regulations, training junior kitchen staff, and maintaining inventory control. The Culinary Operations Supervisor works closely with other departments to coordinate meal services and handle special dietary requirements or large events. The role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to troubleshoot operational challenges in a fast-paced environment.
Job Requirement:
Education: Culinary diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience: Minimum 3 years in kitchen operations with supervisory experience.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
Ability to lead and motivate kitchen teams.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Proficiency in kitchen management software is a plus.
Language: Proficiency in English; Arabic is beneficial.
