Job Description:
The Bakery Chef in Mesaieed is responsible for preparing high-quality baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and specialty items, for hotel guests, restaurant patrons, and special events. This role involves recipe development, dough preparation, baking, decorating, and maintaining consistency in taste, texture, and presentation. Working within a professional kitchen, the Bakery Chef oversees ingredient sourcing, monitors oven operations, ensures precise measurements, and adjusts recipes as needed to meet dietary or cultural preferences.
Key duties include organizing baking schedules, supervising junior kitchen staff, maintaining inventory of baking supplies, and adhering to food safety and hygiene standards. The Bakery Chef also collaborates with the Executive Chef to design dessert menus, seasonal offerings, and custom orders for weddings or corporate events. Creativity, time management, and attention to detail are essential to ensuring each item meets the establishment’s culinary standards.
Job Requirement:
Education: Culinary diploma or formal certification in baking and pastry arts.
Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years as a professional baker or pastry chef in a hotel, restaurant, or bakery.
Skills:
Expertise in baking techniques and dessert preparation.
Strong artistic sense for presentation and cake decoration.
Ability to scale recipes and manage baking schedules.
Familiarity with hygiene, storage, and allergen protocols.
Language: Basic proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.

Willingness to work early morning shifts and weekends.
Strong physical stamina for long hours in a high-temperature environment.
