Job Description:

The Back-of-House Manager in Al Rayyan is responsible for overseeing all behind-the-scenes operations in hospitality establishments, including kitchens, storage areas, and service prep zones. This role ensures that food preparation, inventory management, and cleaning processes run efficiently while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety. The manager coordinates with chefs, kitchen staff, and suppliers to guarantee timely delivery of ingredients and supplies.

Key responsibilities include supervising kitchen personnel, managing stock levels, implementing food safety protocols, and ensuring compliance with local health regulations. The Back-of-House Manager works closely with front-of-house teams to align operations with guest service expectations. Strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure are critical to success in this role.

Job Requirement:

Education: Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or Culinary Arts preferred.

Experience: Minimum 3 years in kitchen or hospitality operations management.

Skills:

In-depth knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.

Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in inventory control and supplier management.

Language: Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
