Job Description:
The iOS Developer in Umm Salal is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications for Apple iOS devices within the IT and telecommunication industry. The developer works closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend teams to create seamless, high-performance applications that meet user needs and business goals.
Key duties include writing clean, efficient code using Swift or Objective-C, integrating APIs and third-party services, troubleshooting and debugging applications, and ensuring app performance and security standards. The iOS Developer is also responsible for staying updated on Apple’s latest technologies and guidelines to deliver innovative mobile solutions that enhance user experience and align with Qatar’s digital transformation initiatives.
Job Requirement:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional experience developing iOS applications.
Skills:
Proficient in Swift, Objective-C, and Xcode development environment.
Strong understanding of iOS frameworks, RESTful APIs, and mobile UI design principles.
Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Knowledge of Apple’s app submission and review processes.
Ability to write clean, maintainable code and perform unit testing.
Certifications: Apple Certified iOS Developer or relevant certifications are a plus.
Language: Fluent in English; Arabic skills are advantageous.
