Job Description:
The IT Compliance Auditor in Al Wakrah, Qatar, is tasked with ensuring that the organization's IT systems, policies, and procedures comply with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal governance frameworks. This role involves conducting comprehensive audits and assessments of IT processes to identify compliance gaps, risks, and areas for improvement.
Responsibilities include reviewing IT policies, security controls, data privacy measures, and system configurations to verify adherence to laws such as data protection regulations, cybersecurity mandates, and corporate governance policies. The auditor works closely with IT, legal, and management teams to develop corrective action plans and support compliance training initiatives.
In Qatar's dynamic IT environment, the IT Compliance Auditor plays a crucial role in mitigating legal and operational risks by monitoring evolving regulatory landscapes and advising stakeholders on compliance best practices. Job Requirement:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Law, or related fields. Relevant certifications such as CISA, CRISC, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor are preferred.
Experience: At least 3 years of experience in IT compliance, audit, or risk management roles.
Skills:
In-depth knowledge of IT compliance standards and frameworks (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST).
Experience conducting IT audits and risk assessments.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity, data privacy laws, and regulatory requirements.
Proficient in audit tools and compliance monitoring software.
Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Language: Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
