Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our livestock farming team in Yishun, Singapore. As a General Livestock Farmer, you will be responsible for the care and management of our livestock, ensuring their well-being and productivity. This role requires hands-on work with animals and daily farm operations. Responsibilities: Feeding and watering livestock according to their specific dietary needs. Monitoring the health and condition of the animals, identifying and treating any signs of illness or injury. Maintaining clean and sanitary living conditions for the livestock. Handling and restraining animals during routine procedures such as vaccinations and deworming. Assisting with breeding programs and managing reproductive cycles. Monitoring and adjusting environmental conditions to optimize animal comfort. Maintaining accurate records of animal health, growth, and production. Operating and maintaining farm equipment and machinery. Participating in the maintenance and repair of farm structures and fencing. Adhering to health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborating with team members to accomplish daily tasks and achieve production targets. Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in livestock farming.
Job Requirement: Requirements: Prior experience in livestock farming or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of animal husbandry practices, including feeding, breeding, and health management. Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions. Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and effectively. Good observational skills and attention to detail to monitor animal behavior and health. Strong work ethic, reliability, and a genuine passion for animal welfare. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Basic computer literacy for record-keeping purposes.
