Job Description:
We are hiring a hardworking and dependable Dairy Farm Assistant to support day-to-day operations on a busy dairy farm located in Valencia. In this role, you will assist in the care and handling of dairy cattle, ensuring their health, cleanliness, and overall well-being. Your tasks will include milking cows using mechanical systems, feeding livestock, maintaining clean stalls and feeding areas, and assisting with minor veterinary care as needed.
This is a hands-on position that requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays. You’ll work under the supervision of the farm manager and in coordination with other farm staff to maintain a smooth operation. Maintaining hygiene standards, monitoring animal health, and supporting the implementation of herd management practices are key responsibilities. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with animals, understands the basics of dairy farm operations, and is comfortable performing physically demanding tasks. Previous experience on a livestock or dairy farm is preferred but not essential, as on-the-job training may be provided.
