Job Description:

We are hiring an Embroidery Stitch Operator to support our garment embellishment operations in Barcelona. This role focuses on executing embroidery tasks using semi-automatic or manual machines to apply designs, logos, and monograms onto apparel, fabrics, and uniforms.

As an Embroidery Stitch Operator, you will prepare garments for embroidery by hooping and aligning fabric, selecting thread colors, and ensuring machines are correctly set up. You will follow pre-programmed instructions or patterns and oversee the stitching process, adjusting tension and replacing threads or needles as needed.

You’ll be responsible for quality checking your work to ensure stitches are uniform, designs are aligned, and no damage is done to the fabric. In addition, you’ll maintain equipment cleanliness and assist with minor maintenance.

This is a hands-on, detail-oriented position ideal for someone with a passion for textile finishing, creativity, and mechanical skill. You will work closely with the production and design teams to meet both bulk and custom embroidery needs.

Job Requirement:

Candidates should have at least a high school diploma or vocational training in textile production or garment finishing. One to two years of experience operating embroidery or sewing machines is preferred.

Basic understanding of embroidery threads, stitch types, machine settings, and fabric behavior is essential. You must be comfortable operating and monitoring stitching equipment and able to troubleshoot simple mechanical issues.

Precision, patience, and attention to small details are necessary for maintaining embroidery quality. Experience working in a high-volume or custom garment environment will be an advantage.

Candidates should be reliable, organized, and capable of standing for long hours. Good communication skills are a plus, especially when working with design and production staff.
