Job Description:
We are hiring Fiber Crop Farm Workers for our farming operations in Valencia. This position focuses on the cultivation, maintenance, and harvesting of fiber crops such as flax, hemp, or kenaf used in textile and industrial production.
You will assist in field preparation, seeding, irrigation, and weeding. Once the crops mature, your responsibilities will shift to manual or mechanical harvesting, drying, and bundling. You may also be involved in basic fiber extraction and sorting depending on the crop cycle and processing method.
This is a hands-on role that demands endurance and teamwork. You’ll play a key part in producing renewable natural fibers that support sustainable industries. The job suits individuals who enjoy physical work and are motivated by environmental farming practices.
Job Requirement:
No formal education is required, but candidates should be physically fit and capable of working long hours outdoors. Experience with fiber crops or general field labor is preferred. Training will be provided for crop-specific procedures and equipment use.
You must be able to lift heavy loads (up to 25 kg), operate basic agricultural tools, and work in heat or rain when necessary. A solid work ethic, reliability, and adherence to safety protocols are essential.
The ability to work with a team, take instructions, and complete tasks on time is important. Spanish language basics will help with coordination and communication. Preference will be given to candidates open to seasonal or contract work during peak harvest periods.
