We are looking for a skilled Forestry Fire Technician to join our team in Seville, responsible for wildfire prevention and suppression activities in the forestry sector. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working in forest management, fire behavior analysis, and firefighting techniques. As part of the forestry team, you will play a crucial role in protecting forested areas from the risk of wildfires, safeguarding both natural resources and nearby communities.
Your responsibilities will include maintaining firebreaks, clearing brush, monitoring forest conditions for fire risk, and working alongside local emergency services to respond to wildfire threats. You will assist in fire suppression efforts, including controlling the spread of fires using fire tools and equipment, as well as deploying water, foam, and other fire retardants.
