Job Description:
We are hiring a compassionate Home Health Caregiver to provide in-home support services to clients across Valencia. You will assist elderly, disabled, or recovering individuals with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and light housekeeping. This role helps clients maintain their independence and dignity in the comfort of their own homes.
Your responsibilities will include preparing meals, assisting with mobility, monitoring basic health signs, and ensuring a safe environment. You may also accompany clients to appointments, help manage medications, and provide companionship. As a caregiver, you will develop meaningful relationships and make a difference in each client’s daily life.
This is a highly personal and rewarding role that requires patience, reliability, and a nurturing spirit. You will be supported by a team of nurses and supervisors to ensure quality standards. Flexibility and emotional resilience are key, as you may work in varying home environments with clients who have different levels of need.
Job Requirement:
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in elderly care, home care, or personal support work is highly preferred. You should have knowledge of hygiene practices, nutrition basics, and mobility assistance.
You must be physically able to assist with lifting, walking support, and occasional housekeeping. Compassion, empathy, and a non-judgmental attitude are essential for building trust with clients. Excellent communication and observation skills are needed to identify any changes in health or behavior.
Fluency in Spanish is required, and basic English proficiency is a plus. A valid ID, clean background check, and first aid certification are necessary. You must be able to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain confidentiality.
A flexible schedule is important, including availability for weekend and evening shifts. Formal training in caregiving or health assistance will be considered an advantage.
