Job Description:
We are looking for a Nursery Worker to support the propagation and care of young plants in our commercial nursery in Barcelona. Your role includes potting, watering, pruning, fertilizing, and organizing plant trays according to their growth stages.
You’ll assist in germination activities, pest inspections, and preparing plants for shipment or transfer. Maintaining clean working areas and greenhouse tools is also part of your routine.
This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy nurturing plants and contributing to the early stages of horticultural production.
Job Requirement:
No formal education is required, but experience in nursery work, greenhouse operations, or plant care is preferred. You must be able to identify healthy vs. unhealthy seedlings.
Basic Spanish comprehension is needed for plant labels and work instructions. You should be comfortable working with soil, water, and fertilizers in warm greenhouse environments.
Physical stamina, attention to detail, and a patient attitude are necessary. Willingness to work with small tools, handle delicate plants, and follow daily schedules is expected. Training on species-specific care techniques will be provided.
