Job Description:
We are hiring a Post-Harvest Packaging Operator to handle the grading, packing, and preparation of fruits and vegetables for market distribution from our Barcelona facility. You will ensure produce is boxed, labeled, and stored correctly to maintain freshness and shelf life.
Your duties involve sorting produce, checking for defects, handling packaging materials, and maintaining clean work areas. You’ll also coordinate with quality control to verify product specifications and traceability labeling.
This role is essential for post-harvest management and contributes to food safety and consumer satisfaction.
Job Requirement:
Experience in food handling, fresh produce grading, or warehouse operations is preferred. You should be able to perform repetitive tasks quickly and maintain attention to detail.
Basic Spanish language skills are needed for working instructions. Physical ability to stand long hours, lift boxes (~15 kg), and maintain tidy workstations is required.
Must comply with hygiene and safety protocols. Training on produce standards and packaging workflows will be provided.
