Job Description:
The Audio Script Localizer will be responsible for adapting and localizing audio scripts to suit regional linguistic, cultural, and audience-specific preferences, ensuring that the content maintains its original tone, intent, and message. The role involves reviewing original scripts in English (or other source languages) and translating them into localized versions with sensitivity to colloquial language, idioms, and regional norms. The localizer collaborates closely with audio production teams, voice directors, and quality assurance staff to ensure the accuracy and cultural relevance of the localized scripts. Tasks also include adapting scripts for dubbing or voice-over synchronization, managing timing cues, and maintaining dialogue flow in target languages. The successful candidate will also support quality control processes, including reviewing voice-over recordings to ensure script adherence and localization accuracy. This position is crucial in helping media and entertainment companies effectively connect with multilingual and multicultural audiences in the UAE and broader MENA region.

At least 3 years of experience in script localization, translation, or audio adaptation, preferably in a media or entertainment setting.
