Job Description:
The Bilingual Spanish-English Translator in Al Ain is responsible for delivering high-quality translation services between Spanish and English across diverse content formats such as legal documents, marketing materials, educational resources, customer support scripts, and technical manuals. The translator ensures that the original intent, tone, and content structure are maintained while making the content culturally relevant and linguistically accurate for both Spanish- and English-speaking audiences. Responsibilities include text translation, proofreading, terminology research, glossary management, and editing for clarity and style. The translator works closely with departments such as legal, HR, customer experience, and marketing to meet communication goals and compliance standards. This role may also involve reviewing machine translations, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines, and supporting bilingual client communications and documentation reviews.
Job Requirement:
A bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field is required, along with 3–5 years of experience translating between Spanish and English. Native or near-native proficiency in both languages is essential, with a strong command of regional linguistic variations (e.g., Latin American vs. European Spanish). Proficiency in CAT tools (e.g., MemoQ, SDL Trados), style guides, and document formatting is important. Candidates should be detail-oriented, well-organized, and capable of handling both general and technical content under tight deadlines. Experience in legal or educational translation is an added advantage.
