Job Description:
The BIM Coordinator in Ajman is responsible for managing Building Information Modeling workflows for construction and infrastructure projects. Duties include coordinating BIM models across disciplines (architecture, MEP, structural), ensuring clash detection using tools like Navisworks, and maintaining model integrity throughout the project lifecycle. The coordinator enforces BIM standards, collaborates with consultants and contractors, and ensures models are updated per project phases. Other tasks involve model review meetings, integration with 4D/5D planning, and supporting documentation for construction approvals. Ensuring all deliverables comply with ISO 19650 and LOD requirements is crucial. The BIM Coordinator plays a vital role in enhancing project efficiency and reducing rework.
Job Requirement:
A bachelor’s degree in architecture, civil engineering, or a related field is needed with 3+ years of experience in BIM coordination. Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360 is mandatory. Candidates should understand clash detection, federated models, and collaboration platforms. Strong coordination and communication skills are essential.
